• Salivary Adrenal Stress Testing

Salivary Adrenal Stress Testing is a non invasive test to monitor the level of stress hormones in the body through saliva samples.

Saliva samples are drawn at predetermined slots 5-6 times during the day. The test measures the level of Cortisol, the stress hormone and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), the de-stress hormone in the body. Both of these are indicative of the body’s typical response and ability to handle stress.

Stress hormones interfere with the regular functioning of the body’s biological processes. Stress is the root cause of numerous diseases including loss of appetite, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, sleep disorders, depression, hypertension, skin diseases and other complications etc.
